Bandage dressing technique

1. The position of the injured should be appropriate.

2. The affected limb is placed to adapt to the position, so that the patient can keep the limb comfortable and reduce the patient's pain during the dressing process.

3. The bandage of the affected limb must be in the functional position.

4. The packer usually stands in front of the patient to observe the patient's facial expression.

5. Generally, it should be wrapped from the inside out and from the distal end to the trunk. At the beginning of bandage, two circular bandages shall be made to fix the bandage.

6. The bandage roll shall be mastered during dressing to avoid falling. The bandage shall be rolled and shall be pasted flat on the binding part.

7. The pressure should be equal every week when bandaging, and it should not be too light to avoid falling off. It shall not be too tight to avoid circulation obstruction.

8. Except for patients with acute bleeding, open trauma or fracture, the local area must be clean and dry before bandaging.

9. Rings, gold bracelets and watch necklaces are removed before bandaging.
