1、 Strictly implement the single use system of syringes.

2、 Do not use one drug to dissolve another drug or use a needle to suck two drugs at the same time.

2、 Select the appropriate solvent according to the drug properties.

Some drugs need to be fully dissolved with their own solvent before they can be added to the large liquid bottle. However, in clinical practice, some nurses feel that their own solvent is redundant and choose normal saline or glucose to dissolve directly.

We should know that not all drugs can be diluted with water for injection. All kinds of drugs have their own properties. If some drugs are attached with their required solvent in the packaging box, the attached solvent should be used and cannot be replaced without authorization. If no solvent is attached, the solvent shall be selected according to the drug instructions.

3、 Colored drugs for injection should be added at last to prevent small precipitation from being found.

4、 When the two drugs are compatible in the same infusion, the one with higher concentration should be added first, and then the one with lower concentration, so as to reduce the speed of reaction.

5、 Fully understand the characteristics of compatible drugs and avoid incompatibility.

During intravenous infusion, attention should be paid not only to the incompatibility of drugs in the same bottle of liquid, but also to the incompatibility between two adjacent groups of liquids.
