FFP2  Unvalved Respiratory masks refer to those that meet the European standard (ceen149:2001). The European standard for protective masks is divided into three levels: ffp1, FFP2 and ffp3.


Purpose

1. Personal protective articles designed to prevent or reduce dust in the air from entering human respiratory organs, so as to protect life safety;


2. Material: the anti particle mask is mostly composed of two layers of non-woven fabrics inside and outside, and a layer of filter cloth (melt blown cloth) in the middle;


3. Filtration principle: the filtration of fine dust mainly depends on the filter cloth in the middle. Filter material

Different types of FFP2 masks use different filter materials. On the one hand, the filtration effect is related to the particle size and whether the particles contain oil. FFP2 masks are usually classified according to the filtration efficiency and whether they are suitable for filtering oily particles. Non oily particles, such as dust, water-based fog, paint fog, non oily smoke (welding smoke), microorganisms, etc. "non oily particles" filter materials are common, but they are not suitable for oily particles, such as oil mist, oil smoke, asphalt smoke, coke oven smoke, etc. while filter materials suitable for oily particles can also be used for non oily particles.


Selection method

1: the dust prevention efficiency of the mask should be high. The dust blocking efficiency of a mask is based on its effect on fine dust, especially on 5 μ The dust blocking efficiency of respirable dust below m is standard. The dust blocking principle of a general gauze mask is mechanical filtration, that is, when the dust collides with the gauze, some large particles of dust are blocked in the gauze through layers of barrier.
