Application:

Alginate Dressing use method

◆ clean the wound with normal saline and gently dry the skin around the wound;

◆ when alginate medical membrane is soaked by exudate, it needs to be replaced in time;

◆ when granulation tissue begins to form, the exudate is reduced, and the times of replacing medical membrane are reduced accordingly;

◆ in the initial stage, it is generally necessary to replace the medical film every day;

◆ the maximum time for each piece of alginate medical film to cover the wound shall not exceed seven days.
