Due to its limited structure, band aid can only be used for emergency treatment of small wounds, so as to temporarily stop bleeding and protect wounds.

If it is used for too long, the adhesive tape on the outer layer of the band aid is generally airtight, which will make the wound and the skin around the wound white and soft, leading to secondary infection. However, the binding time should not be too long, preferably not more than two days.
