Surgical Hemostatic Forceps Used For Hemostats
Application: Orthopedic, Abdominal, Ent, Neurosurgery, Microsurgery, Anorectal, Urology, Burns
Material: Steel
Surgical Hemostatic forceps used for hemostats are also called vascular forceps. As the name suggests, they are mainly suitable for clamping blood vessels and bleeding points for hemostasis. In addition, the hemostatic forceps have a smooth tip, are easy to insert into the fascia and are not easy to puncture the vein. They can be used for separating and dissecting tissues. They can also be used to pull suture, pull out bee needle or replace forceps. Because the vascular clamp is tightly closed, it is not suitable to hold the skin, organs and fragile tissues, which is easy to cause tissue damage and necrosis. Vascular forceps can be divided into curved vascular forceps, straight vascular forceps, mosquito vascular forceps and right angle forceps. These vascular forceps have their own characteristics and uses.
Before the operation, the doctor will select the appropriate incision location and length according to the location, size and condition of the patient. The incision needs to avoid important nerves and blood vessels as much as possible, and meet the aesthetic requirements as much as possible.
If the incision avoids large blood vessels, it can reduce bleeding. When cutting the skin, it should be cut layer by layer slowly. For each layer, it should stop bleeding completely. It will not cut the whole layer of skin and muscle at once, which will cause more bleeding.
2. Add adrenaline to the anesthetic
When performing local anesthesia surgery, anesthetics need to be injected around the incision. The doctor may add adrenaline to the anesthetics. Adrenaline can constrict blood vessels. On the one hand, it can slow down the absorption of anesthetics, increase the action time of anesthetics, and reduce bleeding.
3. Compression hemostasis
When cutting the skin, the doctor usually holds a small gauze in his hand. The gauze plays a role of compression. Where there are bleeding points, press them with gauze immediately. Small bleeding points can stop bleeding simply by compression.
4. Hemostatic forceps
When cutting the skin or tissue, the assistant takes the gauze or suction device, finds the bleeding point, and immediately attracts or compresses it. For larger blood vessels, clamp the blood vessels with Surgical Hemostatic forceps used for hemostats, and then ligate the blood vessels with thread.
